large circular pocosin-type depression; dominated by T. ascendens and P. serotina; midstory dominated by clethra, lyonia, persea, I. glabra; understory dominated by wood. Virg., grasses and sedges; similar to site 117 and 118; plot on E edge of depression; very dense wall of lyonia E half of plot; beyond this is shrubby uppland with primarily clethra, lyonia, persea, morella, liquidambar midstory and p. setoina/p.palustris canopy; ground layer gets more diverse as you get into longleaf pine
